Accommodations at the Coast Norfolk

Coast Norfolk features a variety of accommodations, either with one bedroom or with two. They usually feature king beds but can be split into singles upon prior intimation at the time of booking. The ensuites are modern with a touch of Polynesian charm and feature amenities like rain showers, towels, toiletries and hairdryers. Each cottage comes with a full kitchen, complete with all the bells and whistles required for cooking. Plus, modern kitchen appliances add a touch of convenience.

Things to do at the Coast Norfolk Island

Visitors at the Coast Norfolk Island have much to do on their sub-tropical getaway. For starters, a walk to the nearby salt-water pool is a great idea. Swim a couple of laps and rest on the sun loungers, though make sure to carry umbrellas and sunscreen. There’s also a guest only pool at the premises that’s great for impromptu dips, laps or just for hanging out. The Boat House is an open plan communal space within the resort’s boundaries. Here fellow travellers convene by a fireplace on cool evenings and by the BBQ on warmer nights. Enjoy free-flowing conversations, swap stories or retire with a book from the library. Plus, the Boat House is a one-stop destination for nearly everything — from umbrellas and towels to push bikes.

Stepping out, visitors have a world awaiting exploration. Coast’s USP lies in its proximity to KAVHA and guests ought to make the most of this opportunity. Coast is close to the Bumboras Reserve or ‘Bumby’ as the locals call it affectionately. A horticulture’s and birdwatcher’s paradise, endangered flora like Norfolk Island Euphoria shrub and fauna like the avian Norfolk Island Gerygone found here.

Bumboras is also popular as a surfing destination. It offers some of the best longboard surfing conditions in all of Norfolk Island.
